Upcoming Art projects
*Note: All age groups will work on the same themed projects. Techniques will be tailored to suit their age and abilities, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience for everyone.
**Note: The sample images shared are prototypes and are intended for inspiration and reference only. Each child’s artwork will be unique and guided by their creativity, age, and skill level. While the core techniques and materials will remain the same, final outcomes may vary—and that’s the beauty of art!
January Theme: Cozy Winter Wonderland
This month, we’re slowing down and embracing the calm, cozy beauty of winter. Artists will explore cool color palettes, texture, pattern, and composition through a mix of painting, clay, and mindful drawing — perfect for a fresh and creative start to the new year.
Artists will be creating a peaceful winter cabin scene, using watercolor washes combined with ink line work. Artists will learn how to layer soft snowy backgrounds, add depth with trees, and use ink to define details — creating a warm, storybook-style winter artwork. 🏠
Next, kids will sculpt cheerful snowmen while learning basic 3D form, shaping, and detailing. From scarves and hats to expressive faces, this project encourages creativity and fine motor skill development — each snowman will have its own unique personality!
We will also be doing a calming and focused activity, where artists will create snowflake-inspired mandalas, exploring symmetry, repetition, and pattern. This project builds patience, concentration, and pencil control while celebrating the beauty of winter designs.
To wrap up the month, artists will paint a winter cityscape using acrylics. They’ll experiment with layering buildings, snowy skies, and reflections while learning composition and brush techniques — resulting in a bold and expressive winter artwork.
