JULY Theme: Adventure Awaits
This month, artists will set off on a creative summer adventure through bold colors, exciting destinations, and imaginative worlds! Each project encourages children to explore different materials and techniques while building confidence, storytelling skills, and artistic expression.
We’ll begin with a Hot Air Balloon Mixed-Media Landscape, where artists will design colorful balloons floating across painted skies and layered landscapes. This project explores composition, color, and texture while encouraging imaginative thinking. 🎈☁️
Next, artists will create a Clay Sea Creatures Collection, sculpting ocean-inspired animals such as turtles, jellyfish, starfish, and fish. Through shaping and detailing, children will learn foundational clay techniques while bringing their underwater world to life. 🐠🐚
We’ll then paint a Summer Road Trip Scene using acrylics, imagining the view from a car window filled with mountains, fields. This project introduces perspective, storytelling, and layered painting techniques. 🚗🌄
To wrap up the month, artists will create an Island Palm Tree Painting, combining drawing, watercolor, and illustration 🏝️✨

AUGUST Theme: Coastal Creations
This month, artists will dive into the beauty of the ocean and coastal landscapes through creative, hands-on art projects. Inspired by beaches, sea life, and summer adventures, each project explores different techniques while encouraging imagination, observation, and artistic confidence.
We’ll begin with a vibrant Beach Painting with Flip Flops, using acrylics to create a sunny shoreline scene complete with waves, sand textures, and colorful summer details. This project focuses on layering, composition, and bringing a joyful summer moment to life. 🌊☀️
Next, artists will develop their drawing skills with a Lighthouse Pencil Shading Artwork, learning how to use light, shadow, and texture to create depth and realism. This project introduces fundamental shading techniques while building confidence in observational drawing. ✏️🏝️
We’ll then create a 3D Pattern Sea Turtle Art, combining bold patterns, colors, and raised elements to design a striking ocean-inspired piece. This project encourages creativity through design while exploring texture and dimension. 🐢🎨
To wrap up the month, artists will craft a fun Paper Plate & Yarn Jellyfish, using simple materials to create playful, flowing tentacles and expressive sea creatures. This project blends crafting and creativity while introducing movement and texture in art. 🪼✨
